| | | What's your art tools? | Mon Jul 13, 2009 3:21 am by nsanelilmunky | I'm just curious as to what you all do and what tools work for you. Whether it's drawing, rendering, music, sewing.... whatever.
For me:
Mechanical Pencils
Staedtler Mars Plastic (eraser)
Zig Memory System's Millennium inking pens (01 and 05)
Sketch books with Heavyweight paper
Prismacolor colouring pencils
GIMP (it's like a free version of Photoshop)
Blender (free 3D creator)
Audacity (free music/sound editor)
Terragen 1 and 2 (3D terrain creator. free versions)
Bloodshed DEV C++ (free code compiler for computer programming)
Bernina Activa 210 (digital sewing machine)
small dressform
Yamaha PSR-E303/YPT-300 portatone (keyboard)
Fender Strat Lefty in Wine
As you can tell, I get the cheap stuff (well, except for the prismacolors and the sewing machine). I haven't gotten to play around much with Blender through Bloodshed, but I can tell you I love GIMP. As far as I can tell, it does everything photoshop can do and is free.
