| I too love zippers as a front closure on corsets--provided they aren't historically geared. _________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

I know with both of mine they lace up in the back, so I can never put one on myself. Plus my lulu likes to eat the laces off of my corsets. I got mad... That was $150 corset that is now f*cked up. |
You can always buy new laces. I know corsetmaking.com has lacing but they also have outrageous shipping charges and I think they have a $10 minimum. I saw lacing by the yard at Joann's for $1.49/yd., you would just have to secure the ends. You can also try looking for ice skate laces. |

| Thanks everyone :-) And yes, if I was going for historical accuracy I would have used a busk but then again, if I was REALLY going for historical accuracy the corset would be made from white coutil and worn UNDER my clothes :-) And that's just no fun.... |

| This is only one of the shirts I am working on. At this point, I think I am finished with this one. _________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |
